Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking an EMC Testing Engineer to join the EMC team. The role focuses on providing EMC testing services for platforms across the Airbus Defence and Space portfolio to enable certification from an electromagnetic perspective.

You will participate in Ground Testing activities, define testing requirements, prepare procedures, coordinate test support, and report results while ensuring facilities readiness and compliance with quality gates.

Formación

• Engineering background in Telecommunication or Industrial fields.
• Solid understanding of EMC fundamentals.
• Knowledge of aircraft systems (AVS, COMMS, Mission).
• Experience with RF measurements and laboratory tests.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in international environments.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in Ground Testing activities.
• Define and discuss testing requirements with other engineering areas.
• Prepare Test Procedures and coordinate Ground Test support.
• Report Ground Test results and interpret observed effects.
• Use RF instrumentation when needed and ensure facilities readiness.

Job Description:A new position for an EMC Testing Engineer is open. The jobholder will be part of the EMC team with the mission to provide EMC testing services to all the platforms of Airbus Defence and Space which will allow the certification and qualification of our products from Electromagnetic point of view.RESPONSIBILITIESActive participation in the Ground Testing activitiesDiscussion and definition of testing requirements in close colaboration with other Engineering areas (System Specialists, Design Office...).Preparation of the Test ProcedureCoordination of the Ground Test supporting meansReporting on the Ground Test Results including interpretation of the effects observed during testUse of specific RF instrumentation when needed.Quality Gates to ensure EMC Testing facilities are ready for any potential EMC Testing campaign.Define and anticipate testing needs for future programme or activitesPrepare and pass the Quality, H&S auditsSKILLSTelecommunication or Industrial Engineer (or equivalent academic background)Knowledge on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) fundamentalsKnowledge on aircraft systems (AVS, COMMS, Mission...)Familiar with Airbus Defence and Space platformsExperience in RF measurementsProven experience in laboratory tests, processes and instrumentationAvailability to travel (up to 50% of time) and schedule flexibilityDemonstrated experience working in International EnvironmentsAbility to work autonomously as well as being active part of a teamAbility to overcome difficulties in the development of the projectsProactive and self-motivatedWHICH BENEFITS WILL YOU HAVE AS AIRBUS EMPLOYEE?At Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
