Job summary

Confidential employer in Mallorca seeks an experienced elevator technician to join its technical service team in Palma. The role is full-time, focusing on preventive and corrective maintenance across the island to ensure safety and reliability of vertical transport in residential, commercial and public facilities.

You will diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical faults, perform repairs and component replacements, conduct safety inspections, and document interventions.

Qualifications

• CFGM or equivalent in electromechanical maintenance.
• At least 24 months of experience servicing elevators.
• Experience with multinational companies in the lift/elevator sector.
• Valid Class B driving licence for travel in Palma and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on multi-brand elevator systems.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, and mechanical malfunctions systematically.

Job description

Are you an experienced elevator technician looking for a secure, long-term position in Mallorca? A leading elevator installation and maintenance company is currently recruiting two professionals to join its technical service team in Palma. In this full-time role, you will carry out essential service work across the island, ensuring the safety, reliability, and smooth operation of vertical transportation systems for residential, commercial, and public facilities.

Your primary daily responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on multi-brand elevator systems.
• Diagnosing electrical, electronic, and mechanical malfunctions systematically and efficiently.
• Performing repairs, component replacements, and resolving technical breakdowns promptly.
• Conducting regular safety inspections and testing elevator performance to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Documenting technical interventions, service logs, and maintenance reports.

To be considered for this position, you should meet the following requirements:

• Intermediate vocational training (Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio / CFGM), preferably in electromechanical maintenance or industrial installations.
• At least 24 months of documented professional experience servicing elevators.
• Proven prior work experience with multinational companies within the lift and elevator sector.
• Solid practical knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• A valid Class B driving licence to travel across Palma and surrounding areas.

What the company offers you:

• A permanent, stable employment contract (contrato indefinido) with a planned start date of 30/11/2026.
• A gross annual salary of €27,700, distributed across 12 monthly payments.
• A regular full-time work schedule from Monday to Friday, working from 08:00 to 16:00.
• An organized rotating on-call duty system with additional compensation: weekday on-call periods are paid at €250 gross per period (with working hours adjusting to 10:00–18:00 during that shift), and weekend on-call periods are remunerated at €265 gross per period.
