The University of Barcelona invites applications for a First Stage Researcher (R1) in the OPIR group. This undergraduate, part-time position is temporary and starts 15 Oct 2026.

The gross annual salary is 17,728.06 €, with an application deadline of 30 September 2026 (Europe/Madrid time). The role focuses on electronics and optical tweezers: the technician will build new optical tweezers and maintain the lab's existing systems, under a 6-month contract renewable up to 30/09/2028.

Formación

• Must have knowledge of electronics and the ability to build optical tweezers.

Responsabilidades

• Build new optical tweezers capable of operating at temperatures below 0 °C.
• Maintain the research group’s existing optical tweezers.
