Job summary

Satlantis is seeking an Electronics Engineer in Bilbao, Spain, to own high-speed electronic subsystems for satellite payloads from concept through PCB design, fabrication docs, and component selection. The role requires hands-on lab troubleshooting and ECAD proficiency, preferably with Altium Designer.

You will work from our Leioa/Bizkaia HQ in a young, international team, collaborating with ESA and other agencies while enjoying flexible working hours and private health insurance.

Qualifications

• Higher degree in electronics or related field is required.
• Solid background in high-speed PCB design with multi-layer boards and controlled impedance.
• Hands-on lab troubleshooting using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, with professional ECAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Own full design cycle for high-speed subsystems for satellite payloads from requirements to fabrication documentation.
• Select components, define stack-ups and controlled impedance, ensure integration and testing under signal integrity, power, thermal, and mechanical constraints.

The role covers own high-speed electronic subsystems for satellite payloads from requirements and schematic/PCB design through fabrication documentation, component selection, stack-ups and controlled impedance, to integration, lab testing and validation under signal-integrity, power, thermal and mechanical constraints.

Requirements:

• Strong high-speed PCB design background (multi-layer, controlled impedance), ability to own a full design cycle, hands-on lab troubleshooting with oscilloscopes and logic analysers, and professional ECAD experience, preferably Altium Designer.
