Nordex Group in Spain is seeking a hands-on Electrical Technician for on-site installation and finishing of wind turbine generators, ensuring readiness for commissioning. The role emphasizes electrical fieldwork in an international environment and close collaboration with engineering and site teams.

You will perform quality checks, support safety and HSE compliance, provide on-site training, and help drive improvements to installation procedures while traveling to sites as required.

Formación

• Mandatory vocational/technical studies; electrical or electromechanical background preferred.
• Engineering degree in electrical or related field is a plus.
• Spanish degree equivalency recognition may be required for foreign qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years in the wind industry or wind farms.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical electrical support during installation, connection, adjustment and finishing phases of the WTG.
• Identify and support resolution of electrical and quality deviations to ensure smooth commissioning.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements on site and intervene when safety rules are not followed.
• Coordinate and launch electrical technical modifications with Engineering.
• Deliver technical guidance and on-site training to supervisors and field teams.
• Support improvement of electrical instructions, work methods and procedures for installation and finishing.
• Collaborate in prototype testing and validation of new electrical solutions.
• Report site activity status and prepare technical documentation.
• Perform electrical quality checks on site and document corrective actions.
• Participate in coordination of site activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

MISSION

To provide strong electrical expertise during the installation and finishing phases of the WTG, ensuring the turbine is fully prepared for commissioning

You will also support the resolution of electrical and quality deviations, contributing to a smooth handover to the customer and ensuring optimal performance throughout the turbine’s lifetime

This is a hands‑on, dynamic role in an international environment, ideal for professionals who enjoy electrical fieldwork, teamwork and continuous problem‑solving

YOUR TASKS

• Provide technical electrical support during the installation, connection, adjustment and finishing phases of the WTG


• Identify and support the resolution of electrical and quality deviations to ensure smooth commissioning and long‑term turbine reliability


• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements on site and intervene whenever safety rules are not followed


• Coordinate and launch electrical technical modifications in close collaboration with the Engineering department


• Deliver technical guidance and on‑site training to supervisors and field teams


• Support the improvement of electrical instructions, work methods and procedures related to installation and finishing


• Collaborate in prototype testing and validation of new electrical solutions


• Report the status of site activities, preparing and submitting the required technical documentation


• Perform electrical quality checks on site, including complete reporting of findings and corrective actions


• Participate actively in the coordination of site activities and in continuous improvement initiatives

YOUR PROFILE

• Vocational technical studies (FPII/Technical Diploma) – mandatory Engineering degree (Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Mechanical) is a plus


• For foreign qualifications, recognition as the corresponding Spanish degree equivalency is required


• Minimum 3 years of experience in the wind industry


• Previous experience working in wind farms (installation, electrical works, commissioning or maintenance)


• Comfortable working at heights and in demanding HSE environments


• Experience leading teams or working in quality roles is highly valued


• Solid electrical knowledge and strong hands‑on approach


• Good computer skills (Office, reporting tools, technical platforms)


• Resourceful, problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to make decisions on site


• Strong focus on safety, quality and operational excellence


• Full availability to travel without restrictions


• International driving license (or willingness to obtain it)


• Good level of English (spoken and written) is required
