Job summary
AECOM in Barcelona is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our Building Services Engineering team. This internship offers hands-on experience in designing electrical systems for building and infrastructure projects while working with experienced engineers in an international setting.
Key responsibilities include assisting with LV/MV electrical designs, drawings, reports, and BIM-based design activities, along with participating in project reviews and technical meetings.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Eligible for a university internship agreement.
- Basic knowledge of electrical power systems.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is a plus.
- Intermediate English (B1-B2) and good communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design of LV/MV electrical systems, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, and emergency power installations.
- Support the preparation of drawings, calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary project coordination and BIM-based design activities.
- Assist with project reviews, quality checks, and technical meetings.
