Job summary

DTA, a division of Enerpac Tool Group, seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop the electrical components of standardized AGV products. You will ensure electrical systems are feasible, functional, and scalable while aligning with the product roadmap and strategic objectives.

You will collaborate with mechanical, automation, manufacturing, and commissioning teams, lead electrical specs, select components, and document schematics, manuals, and datasheets to support industrialization and

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical design for industrial machinery, mobile robotics, or AGVs.
• Proficiency with electrical design tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar).
• Knowledge of navigation systems, sensors, PLCs, batteries, and power converters.
• Product-oriented mindset with standardization and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with CE/UL electrical standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design of new AGV models.
• Define electrical and control specifications.
• Collaborate with mechanical, automation, manufacturing, and commissioning teams to ensure product quality.
• Participate in selection of electrical components and strategic suppliers.
• Manage purchasing requirements for electrical components of the standard product.
• Document the product: electrical schematics, technical manuals, product datasheets.
• Support product industrialization and scalability from an electrical perspective.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and safety regulations.
