Enerpac Tool Group's DTA division is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to design, develop, and continuously improve electrical components of standardized AGV products. You will ensure electrical systems are feasible, fully functional, and scalable, aligned with the product roadmap.

Formación

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or related field.
  • Experience in electrical design for industrial machinery, mobile robotics, or AGVs.
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar).
  • Knowledge of navigation systems, sensors, PLCs, batteries, and power converters.
  • Product-oriented mindset with focus on standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with industrial electrical standards (CE, UL, etc.).
  • Experience in vision and development of standardized products.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and design for manufacturing.

  • Document the product: electrical schematics, technical manuals, product datasheets.
  • Support product industrialization and scalability from an electrical perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable electrical and safety regulations.

Summary – basic function of the role

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and continuously improving the electrical components of standardized products. It ensures all electrical systems are technically feasible, fully functional, and scalable for future needs, while staying aligned with the company’s overall strategic objectives and product roadmap.

Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Intermediate to high level of technical English, spoken and written.
  • Technical leadership and strategic vision capabilities.
Education and Experience
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in electrical design for industrial machinery, mobile robotics, or AGVs.
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools (EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar).
