Job summary

Zelestra is seeking an Electrical Engineer to participate in the development of electrical designs for utility-scale PV plants and BESS, supporting projects under development and EPC proposals for third-party clients.

Responsibilities include designing PV plant electrical layouts, transformer/inverter stations, and preparing technical documentation, while evaluating equipment proposals and coordinating with contractors during bidding.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (Electrical) or Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (Electrical).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in renewable energy.
• English: Minimum B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Develop the electrical design of utility-scale PV plants, including layouts, calculations, and take-offs.
• Design transformer and inverter stations (DC/AC), equipment selection, control systems, and protection schemes.
• Prepare technical project documentation, reports, and design specifications.
• Perform technical and commercial evaluations of electrical equipment proposals for PV plants.
• Prepare technical specifications for RFQs and support procurement and contracting for electrical installation works.
