ERM Iberia is seeking an EHS / Safety Consultant to support the Safe & Sustainable Operations (SSO) team. You will lead EHS audits across Iberia and international sites, define multi-country audit programs, and provide technical leadership in health and safety.

You will drive risk assessments, incident investigations, and contractor safety management while mentoring junior staff. You will engage with multinational clients, present audit outcomes, and help standardize outputs across countries,

• Experience leading EHS audits across Iberia and international locations.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and deliver EHS and safety audits across Iberia and international locations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute multi-country audit programs with scope, schedule, and resources.
• Provide technical leadership in health & safety with focus on risk assessment, process safety, and contractor safety management.
• Conduct gap assessments and root cause analysis to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Support clients in implementing corrective action plans and ensuring closure of findings.
• Act as client-facing lead, managing relationships with multinational clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure consistency and quality of audit deliverables, including QA and standardization across countries.
• Collaborate on proposals, service scoping, and cross-service integration with global ERM teams.
• Mentor junior consultants and promote safety culture and continuous improvement.

ERM Iberia is looking to hire an EHS / Safety Consultant to support our Safe & Sustainable Operations (SSO) team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver EHS and safety audits (internal, third-party, and regulatory compliance) across Iberia and international locations, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with ERM methodologies and client expectations.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute multi-country audit programs , including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, and alignment with local regulations and corporate standards.
• Provide technical leadership in Health & Safety , with a strong focus on:
  • Risk assessment and hazard identification
  • Process safety and industrial safety
  • Contractor safety management
  • High-risk activities and operational controls
• Conduct gap assessments and root cause analysis to identify compliance issues and performance improvement opportunities, delivering clear, risk-based and actionable recommendations.
• Support clients in the implementation and follow-up of corrective action plans , ensuring effective closure of findings and continuous improvement of EHS performance.
• Act as client-facing lead , managing relationships with multinational clients, facilitating workshops, presenting audit outcomes, and engaging with stakeholders at both site and corporate levels.
• Ensure consistency and quality of audit deliverables , including:
  • Report review and quality assurance
  • Standardization of outputs across countries
  • Application of internal quality procedures
• Contribute to proposal preparation and business development , including service scoping, technical input, and identification of growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborate with global ERM teams and subject matter experts to support complex international projects and cross-service integration.
• Mentor and coach junior consultants, providing technical guidance, feedback, and on-the-job training , contributing to capability building within the SSO Iberia team.
• Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset , both internally and with clients, acting as a role model in EHS leadership.

Technical Expertise & Core Competencies

• Strong expertise in process and industrial safety , including:
  • ATEX
  • Fire safety
  • Machine safety
• Solid experience in EHS compliance and permitting frameworks.
• Proven capabilities in project management in complex and international environments.
• Experience in safety culture assessment and improvement programs.

Additional Skills & Experience

• Experience in training, coaching, and facilitation , with strong communication skills.
• Sector experience in manufacturing, pharma, or chemical industries is highly valued.
• Ability to work in multinational and multicultural environments.
• Additional languages, particularly French , are considered an asset.
