Ramboll is seeking an experienced EHS professional to join its Environment & Health team in Spain. You will support delivery and growth of EHS due diligence and compliance services across Iberia and Europe, working with corporate, industrial and private equity clients to identify risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a degree in a relevant discipline and 10–15 years of consulting or industry experience in EHS, with 5 years in project management.

• Experience with EHS due diligence, audits or permitting.
• Strong knowledge of European and Spanish EHS regulations.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and deliver EHS due diligence projects for M&A, private equity, refinancing and portfolio reviews.
• Conduct EHS compliance assessments and audits across diverse sectors.
• Review management systems, permits, licenses and regulatory obligations to identify risks.
• Support clients in corrective action plans and compliance improvements.
• Prepare high‑quality technical reports and present findings clearly.
• Assist with business development, proposals and client relationships.
• Collaborate with Ramboll's teams to deliver integrated due diligence services.
• Provide guidance to junior consultants and share knowledge.
• Monitor emerging EHS regulations and industry developments relevant to Ramboll's clients.

Ramboll is seeking a motivated and experienced environmental, health and safety (EHS) professional to join our Environment & Health team in Spain.

The successful candidate will support the delivery and growth of Ramboll's EHS Due Diligence and Compliance services across Iberia and Europe. Working with corporate, industrial, infrastructure and private equity clients, you will help identify EHS risks and opportunities associated with transactions, operations, and regulatory requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will have a degree in a relevant discipline and several years of experience delivering EHS due diligence, compliance auditing, environmental permitting, management systems, or related consulting services.

You will work closely with Ramboll's multidisciplinary team of environmental, health, safety, social and sustainability experts to provide practical, business-focused solutions that help our clients manage risk and achieve compliance.

Your new role

• Managing and delivering EHS due diligence projects for mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, refinancing activities, and portfolio reviews.
• Conducting environmental, health and safety compliance assessments and audits across a variety of industrial and commercial sectors.
• Reviewing EHS management systems, permits, licenses, regulatory obligations, and operational practices to identify risks and liabilities.
• Supporting clients in developing corrective action plans and compliance improvement programmes.
• Preparing high-quality technical reports and presenting findings to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Assisting with business development activities, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
• Collaborating with Ramboll's wider environmental, social, sustainability and transaction advisory teams to deliver integrated due diligence services.
• Supporting junior consultants through knowledge sharing and project guidance.
• Monitoring emerging EHS regulations and industry developments relevant to Ramboll's clients.

About you

• BS or MS degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 10-15 years of relevant consulting or industry experience in EHS compliance, environmental permitting, due diligence, auditing, or risk management.
• 5 years of experience in Project Management.
• Experience performing environmental and/or EHS due diligence assessments for corporate, infrastructure, industrial, or private equity clients.
• Strong understanding of European and Spanish environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Experience preparing technical reports and communicating findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Fluent Spanish and English; Portuguese would be considered an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
