ES Business Network Builders S.L. is seeking a Workday-focused consultant in Madrid to lead client engagements, configure and prototype the Workday platform, and deliver end-to-end solutions across core financial processes.

The role requires a strong accounting/finance background, excellent communication, and fluency in English, with entry-level candidates welcome and Spain travel as needed. Attractive benefits accompany a competitive compensation package.

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or MBA desirable.
• Strong understanding of enterprise financial processes and statements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and consultative skills.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically, prioritizing problem solving.
• Desire to learn and enthusiasm for teamwork.
• Fluent in English; Spanish or French is a plus.
• Experience in Workday implementation is preferred but entry-level candidates are welcome.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engagement to understand client requirements, configure Workday, and demonstrate configurations via prototypes.
• Conduct workshops with large and mid-size organizations to analyze requirements across accounting, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, banking, assets, and reporting.
• Design, prototype, configure, test, and deliver the Workday platform with a customer voice in mind.
• Provide status reports and keep the Engagement Manager informed on project status and delivery.
• Offer subject‑matter expertise on key business process decisions across industries and functions.
• Support Workday operations by suggesting best practices, metrics, and data/process standards.
• Contribute to the Workday Community, share expertise, request enhancements, and participate in user groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engagement to understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, and demonstrate configurations through prototype systems.
• Conduct workshops with large and medium global/local organizations to analyze requirements for accounting, procurement‑to‑pay, order‑to‑cash, banking and settlements, business assets, and financial reporting.
• Design, prototype, configure, test, and deliver the Workday platform while representing the "voice of the customer" and keeping end‑user needs central in design and deployment decisions.
• Provide status reports, keep the Engagement Manager informed of overall project status, and ensure delivery of assigned work.
• Offer subject‑matter expertise on key business process decisions related to industry and functional areas.
• Support Workday operations by suggesting monitoring, recommending best practices, identifying improvement metrics, and enforcing data and process standards.
• Actively contribute to the Workday Community, share expertise, request enhancements, and participate in user groups.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (MBA desirable).
• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and consultative skills.
• Ability to work creatively and analytically, prioritizing problem solving.
• Constant desire to acquire knowledge and enthusiasm for teamwork.
• Fluent in English (Spanish or French is a plus).
• Experience in Workday implementation is preferred but entry‑level candidates are welcome.
