Aistech Space, based in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Barcelona, seeks an Edge AI Engineer to bridge Data Science, Software and Hardware. You will deploy and optimize ML models for satellites, ground processing, and cloud platforms, ensuring real-time, low-latency performance on constrained hardware.

You will transform Python models into efficient C/C++ flight software, while evaluating new accelerators and toolchains to expand capabilities across space-borne and ground systems.

Qualificações

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Fluency in English.
• 2+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development or Hardware-Software Co-design.
• High proficiency in C/C++ for low-latency, real-time embedded execution, and Python for scripting, model conversion, and prototyping.
• Strong experience with Linux environments, cross-compilation toolchains, and Git/GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with Neural Processing Units (NPUs / Edge TPUs) and FPGAs / Adaptive SoCs.
• Experience with ML deployment frameworks such as TensorFlow Lite, ONNX Runtime, or Vitis AI.
• Solid understanding of INT8 quantization, pruning, and weight compression for edge deployment.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with FPGA, Embedded Software, and Data Science teams to deploy, profile, and maintain AI solutions on satellites and edge platforms.
• Convert and optimize ML algorithms from Python into high-performance C/C++ implementations for embedded execution.
• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end ML deployment pipelines from cloud training to in-orbit edge execution.
• Research and integrate new Edge AI hardware accelerators and deployment toolchains to improve AI capabilities.
• Provide deployment support to Remote Sensing and Data Science teams to turn research models into operational flight software.
• Support multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust, high-performance embedded AI solutions.
