Protera is seeking a Senior SAP Engineer – Core to design, build, and optimize clean-core SAP S/4HANA extensions and ABAP-based services across complex enterprise landscapes. The role requires hands-on ABAP proficiency, modern ABAP RAP, and collaboration across SAP and BTP stacks.

You will work on CDS domain modeling, OData service design, and integration patterns with CAP and SAPUI5/Fiori. Strong debugging, security, and performance skills are essential, with mentorship duties and architectural

Formación

• Strong ABAP fundamentals (reports, classes, interfaces, enhancements, exits)
• Proficiency with Open SQL, internal tables, and modularization concepts
• Experience creating and consuming basic CDS views
• Ability to consume and expose OData services at a foundational level
• Solid debugging capabilities: ABAP debugger, dumps (ST22), performance analysis (SAT)
• Familiarity with the S/4HANA data model and key simplification topics
• Experience with transport management and the SAP development lifecycle
• Understanding of authorization concepts and security basics

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, enhance, and optimize clean-core SAP S/4HANA extensions
• Develop ABAP-based services across complex enterprise landscapes
• Collaborate across SAP and BTP technology stacks
• Work with ABAP OO, RAP, and CDS-based modeling
• Design OData v2/v4 services and optimize backend performance
• Implement SAP BTP integration patterns (CAP, side-by-side extensions)
• Lead and mentor engineers, perform code reviews
• Contribute to architectural discussions and solution design
