About the role:

As part of the Customer Marketing team at Contentsquare, Lifecycle Marketing is focused on nurturing our user base, driving adoption, and fostering long-term engagement. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Lifecycle Data Specialist to join our team on a 1-year contract to optimize our customer marketing efforts through insightful data management and analysis.

As a Lifecycle Data Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accessibility of user profile, engagement, and performance data for the Lifecycle team. You will collaborate closely with lifecycle marketers and campaign specialists to leverage this data for segmentation, personalization, and analysis, ultimately improving user engagement and retention. This role requires a strong understanding of marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data analysis techniques.

In your day to day you will:

  • Create, maintain, and analyze campaign performance dashboards, providing actionable insights into the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer engagement, retention, and expansion.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations, Product, and Analytics teams to ensure seamless integration of data pipelines and analytics tools with our marketing automation platforms.
  • Partner with lifecycle marketers and campaign specialists to identify key segments. Work with Marketing Operations, Product, and Analytics to identify and secure the data needed to effectively personalize marketing campaigns for those segments.
  • Analyze customer data across various touchpoints to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization within the customer lifecycle.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Approximately 3+ years of experience in a data-driven marketing role, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining insightful campaign performance dashboards that directly inform marketing strategy and optimization.
  • Knowledge of email processes, proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Iterable, Marketo, HubSpot), and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight).
  • Proficiency in data manipulation tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau, Looker).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into meaningful insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate with stakeholders and present data-driven insights.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

What makes you stand out:

  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive measurable results.
  • Experience working with user behavior data within a product-led growth model to inform customer segmentation and personalization strategies.
  • Proactive approach to identifying data gaps and proposing solutions to enhance the value of the database for customer marketing efforts.
  • Experience working with large datasets and implementing advanced segmentation strategies across SMB, midmarket, and enterprise segments.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data querying.
