Q-tech is collaborating with a fast-growing international SaaS company opening a new Barcelona engineering hub. The Senior Software Engineer will focus on backend systems for Identity & Access Management, APIs and integrations, with ownership and impact across secure, scalable platforms.

You will mainly work with Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS and Kubernetes, with some TypeScript/React exposure. Equity, health insurance, and a clear path in a permanent role await in Barcelona.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and iterate on backend-heavy systems across IAM, APIs, internal and external integrations.
• Provide security leadership across the application and resolve issues affecting the product.
• Lead technical decisions when designing new features, refactors or integrations where security is critical.
• Diagnose and resolve critical issues such as login/authorization failures.
• Deliver features end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Drive system reliability, performance and maintainability.
• Engage in architecture discussions with wider engineering leadership.

Q-tech is colaborating with a fast-growing international SaaS company that is opening a new engineering hub in Barcelona and is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

This is a backend-focused role with high ownership and real impact, working on Identity & Access Management, APIs and integrations for a platform used by some of the most demanding customers in the private capital space.

We are seeking experienced developers who would like to work in Ruby on Rails (not previous experience required).

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Expertise in OAuth 2.0

What you’ll work on

• Design, build and iterate on backend-heavy systems across IAM, APIs, internal and external integrations, ensuring security, privacy and reliability at scale.
• Provide security leadership across the whole application, resolving issues that affect the product as a whole.
• Lead technical decision-making when designing new features, refactors or integrations where security is a critical factor.
• Diagnose and resolve critical issues, such as customers being unable to log in due to authorization failures.
• Deliver features end-to-end, from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Drive system reliability, performance and maintainability.
• Engage in architecture discussions with wider engineering leadership.
