EDP Renewables Europe, S.L. is seeking a Dispatch & Remote Operations Intern to join our Renewable Generation Assets team in Madrid. You will support maintenance and testing of real-time monitoring and control systems (SCADA/ORS) and help integrate new parks in Dispatch Centres.

You will develop data workflows using Power BI, SQL and Python, contribute to KPI reporting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Formación

• Knowledge in any SCADA system
• Microsoft Office, VBA
• Power BI
• SQL DB
• Python
• Languages: Spanish and English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Responsabilidades

• Support application maintenance and enhancements of real-time monitoring, supervision, and control systems (SCADA/ORS).
• Support integration and validation of new parks in Dispatch Centres, including testing of updates and system improvements.
• Ensure data acquisition, quality, and continuous improvement across SCADA and ORS systems, including coordination with internal teams.
• Contribute to Big Data initiatives and development of DC-ODO&R content (Power BI, SQL, Python).
• Support preparation and improvement of operational KPI reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Monitor energy production data flows in telemetry systems and support OEM data validation within maintenance contracts.
