Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe seeks a Digital Services & Strategy Architect to lead the digital transformation of our Air Power Services area, focusing on GenAI, data analytics and maintenance information systems to enhance services for military aircraft.

You will identify and prioritize digital use cases, develop strategic roadmaps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and operational efficiency in high-security environments.

Formación

• Degree required in Technological Innovation or Engineering Management.

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Services & Strategy Architect to lead the digital transformation of our Air Power Services area. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing digital use cases, developing strategic roadmaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and operational efficiency in high-security environments. The position focuses on various digital initiatives, including Generative AI (GenAI), Data Analytics, and Maintenance Information Systems, to enhance services for military aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Client Requirements: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize client (external and internal) requirements to define the functions and architecture of digital products that meet strategic objectives.
• Digital Use Cases: Identify, analyze, and prioritize digital use cases across multiple service domains, including engineering support, technical documentation, and maintenance.
• Strategic Roadmap: Define and support the development of a strategic TAS roadmap for digital integration in defense-related operations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and compliance requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with diverse teams within one of the company's largest departments to promote digital-driven innovation and operational efficiency. Manage and align stakeholders across Programs, COCs, Sales, Portfolio & Governance, and Delivery teams.
• Innovation: Drive innovation and operational efficiency in complex, high-security environments through the application of emerging digital technologies.
• Product Development: Influence the design and development of digital products to ensure they address technical and service-related challenges, providing robust and integrated digital solutions to our customers.
• Technical Solutions: Provide technical solutions for support and service systems, either in whole or in part, working closely with the TASD Architecture Board.
• Technology Analysis: Analyze existing and emerging technologies to enhance the support and services business.

Skills

Education & Core Engineering

• Required: Degree in Techological Innovation, Engineering Managment or equivalant.
• Preferred: Master's degree or specialization in Digital Environment, Data Analytics and Business Managment.

Technical Expertise

• Artificial Intelligence & GenAI: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI transformation strategies.
• Data Analytics & Maintenance Systems: Proven understanding of data-driven decision-making, predictive analytics, and the maintenance information system lifecycle.
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis and data modeling tools (e.g. MATLAB, Statgraphics or BI tools).
• Solid understanding of Agile methologies (Scrum/Kanbar) and project management frameworks.
• Digital Technologies: Knowledge of other relevant digital technologies that can enhance defense services.

Experience

• Air Power Services Context: Previous experience within Airbus Defence and Space, focusing on Digital Strategy and AI Transformation.
• Digital Transformation: Proven ability to manage digital roadmaps and digital governance.
• Technical Application: Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application to service operations.
• Business Value: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
