Job summary

Metyis AG is seeking a Digital Product Owner in Madrid with 1–3 years of relevant experience to support digital initiatives, optimize PLM & PIM processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve platform adoption and digital experiences.

You will work with a global, forward-thinking team delivering Big Data, Digital Commerce, and Advisory services, driving efficiency and digital success across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in digital operations, e-commerce, or product delivery.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate into functional specs with technical teams.
• Familiarity with digital platforms and learning new systems quickly.
• Experience with functional testing or UAT, including test scenarios and issue tracking.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Manager in implementing the digital strategy for PLM and PIM.
• Gather and document business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into functional specs and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate digital initiatives with business and technical teams to improve collection-related processes.
• Prepare and execute functional tests and UAT, document issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Identify opportunities to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies across digital processes.
• Deliver training sessions and create documentation to help stakeholders use digital tools.
• Collaborate with Product Management, IT, Digital Channels, Customer Service and other teams to ensure alignment.
• Monitor digital performance metrics, prepare reports and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Promote continuous improvement by challenging processes and proposing practical solutions.

What you will do

• Support the Product Manager in implementing the digital strategy for PLM & PIM, improving platform adoption, operational efficiency and user experience

• Gather and document business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into functional specifications, acceptance criteria and actionable delivery plans

• Coordinate digital initiatives and work closely with business and technical teams to support the development and continuous improvement of collection-related processes

• Prepare and execute functional tests and user acceptance testing (UAT), document issues and coordinate their resolution with the relevant teams

• Identify opportunities to optimise workflows, improve platform and content quality, and reduce inefficiencies across digital processes

• Deliver training sessions and create documentation to help stakeholders use digital tools and processes effectively

• Collaborate with Product Management, IT, Digital Channels, Customer Service and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless digital integration

• Monitor digital performance metrics, prepare reports and translate findings into actionable recommendations to support business objectives

• Promote continuous improvement by challenging existing processes and proposing practical and sustainable solutions

What you´ll bring

• Relevant experience in digital operations, e-commerce, digital project delivery or product-related roles

• Experience gathering business requirements, documenting functional specifications and translating business needs into actionable plans in collaboration with technical teams

• Familiarity with digital platforms and the ability to learn new systems and tools

• Experience with functional testing or user acceptance testing (UAT), including test scenario preparation, issue documentation and follow-up

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and translate data into practical recommendations

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain digital tools, processes and requirements to different stakeholders

• Experience supporting training, documentation, knowledge sharing or digital adoption initiatives

• A proactive approach to process improvement, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose practical solutions

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage priorities

• Experience with PLM & PIM platforms, web analytics and dashboard tools, requirements documentation and delivery tracking tools will be considered an advantage
