Job summary

Fifty5Blue is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to maintain the production Azure and Linux environments from Barcelona, ensuring 24/7 uptime and robust monitoring. You will engage with clients and internal teams to plan extensions and enhance the infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux, Azure, AKS, and scripting skills, plus VMware experience and English proficiency; knowledge of French or German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Completed computer science education.
• Very good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu).
• Very good knowledge in Microsoft AKS, Airflow.
• Very good knowledge of scripting Bash/Perl/Python.
• Good knowledge of VMware (HA Cluster, vCenter).
• Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of French and/or German would be a plus.

Job description

The DevOps Engineer maintains the production system (including external suppliers) and is responsible for production environment which is running continuously on a 24 x 7 basis. Maintain the production system up to date and secure. The focus of this role is to maintain the daily operation of the Azure systems and Linux. Ensure that each system is properly monitored. The DevOps Engineer might also need to attend client meetings from time to time.

Role Requirements:

• Completed computer science education
• Very good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu)

• Good knowledge of VMware (HA Cluster, vCenter)

Main objectives:

• Ensure all systems are running smoothly and reliably with regular updates and maintenance.
• Participation in the on-call duty (remote intervention only)
• Participation in the sprint and team meetings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all systems and processes.
• Work closely with team members to support and enhance the production environment, participating in projects and team goals.
