V&C Associates, partnering with a major global garment and fabric supply chain organisation, designs and sources products for recognised fashion brands. This hands-on Multi-Product Designer role centers on denim, outerwear, shirts and bottoms, with denim wash development at its heart.

You will create trend-led collections from concept through fabric, wash and fit to bulk, collaborating with account managers, offshore teams, mills and clients across Europe and the Far East.

Formación

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven senior-level experience designing across multiple product categories.
• Denim expertise and experience with wash development.
• Experience in casual outerwear and woven shirts.
• Excellent knowledge of the retail fashion market and consumer trends.

Multi-Product Designer – Denim, Outerwear, Shirts & Bottoms

V&C Associates is partnering with a major global organisation in global garment and fabric supply chain, a business that designs, develops and sources product for some of the world's most recognised high-street fashion brands and retailers. With expertise spanning fabric through to finished garment, they combine creative design with deep technical and manufacturing capability.

They are now looking for a Multi-Product Designer to lead creative development across casual outerwear, shirts and bottoms, with denim and denim wash development at the heart of the role. This is a hands‑on position for a designer who understands that in denim the wash is the product. You'll create commercially strong, trend‑led collections and take them from concept through fabric, wash and fit to bulk. You'll work closely with design teams, account managers, offshore development teams, mills, laundries and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Direction

• Design original, trend‑led and commercially focused ranges across casual outerwear, shirts and bottoms for high‑street fashion brands.
• Lead the denim design offer, covering fits, silhouettes, fabrication, wash, finish and detailing.
• Contribute to seasonal colour, fabric, wash and trend direction, turning market insight into ranges that sell.
• Create sketches, technical flats and digital illustrations using industry‑standard design software.

Denim & Wash Development

• Develop wash concepts and standards, from raw and rinse finishes through stone, enzyme, bleach, tint and vintage effects.
• Specify dry and wet processes, including hand sanding, whiskering, grinding, destruction, and laser and ozone finishing, with clear and accurate wash instructions.
• Work directly with mills and laundries to create, refine and approve wash standards, keeping them consistent from sample to bulk.
• Champion lower‑impact finishing techniques that reduce water, energy and chemical use without compromising the look.
• Select denim fabrics with a strong understanding of weight, construction, composition, stretch and cast.

Fabric & Materials

• Source and select fabrics, trims and hardware across all categories, from technical outerwear fabrics to shirtings, twills and denims.
• Carry out material assessments to ensure durability, performance and suitability for both design and function.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work alongside account managers, sourcing and offshore development teams to build seasonal collections and present them to clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, mills, laundries and factories across Europe and the Far East.

Technical & Product Development

• Prepare accurate, detailed tech packs for all designs, including wash specifications and trim and hardware details.
• Guide and support offshore teams to meet design specifications, wash standards and deadlines.
• Collaborate with sample makers to turn concepts into prototypes, and attend fittings to give feedback on fit, style and comfort.

Quality & Standards

• Check samples and wash submissions against specifications and approved standards.
• Work with the quality control team to resolve production challenges, including shade variation, shrinkage and colourfastness.

About You

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven senior‑level experience designing across multiple product categories for high‑street fashion brands, with denim as a core strength.
• In‑depth knowledge of denim fabrics, wash processes and finishing techniques, gained through hands‑on work with mills and laundries.
• Experience designing casual outerwear, including technical fabrics, and woven shirts.
• Strong knowledge of the retail fashion market and consumer trends.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Experience with 3D design software or digital wash and laser design tools is a plus.
• Solid understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction and manufacturing processes across the global supply chain.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and confident working across diverse, international teams.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple categories and projects at a fast pace.
