SEGULA Technologies in Zaragoza seeks Design Release Engineers to join automotive projects. You will manage end-to-end component development, coordinate with international suppliers, and ensure timing, quality, and technical requirements are met throughout the design release process.

The role involves collaboration across development teams, validation phases, and product launches, with a focus on cost optimization and robust documentation using PLM tools.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Previous automotive experience in roles like Design Release Engineer or Project Engineer.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers in an international environment.
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and change management processes.

Responsabilidades

• Manage component development within the project (planning, milestones, deliverables).
• Coordinate technically with suppliers: monitor progress, risks and action plans.
• Ensure supplier quality management following APQP/PPAP methodologies.
• Track and resolve development issues (ISSUE/ECR/Change Management).
• Lead technical meetings (design reviews, convergence meetings, project follow-ups).
• Validate technical documentation: CAD (2D/3D), BOM, PCP, specifications.
• Align supplier timelines with overall project planning.
• Participate in validation phases, prototypes, and product launch.
• Perform technical feasibility analysis, industrialization, and cost optimization.
• Manage and track documentation using PLM tools.

AtSEGULATechnologies,wearelookingtohireseveralDesignReleaseEngineerstojoinautomotiveprojectsbasedinZaragoza.TheDesignReleaseEngineerwillberesponsiblefortheend-to-endmanagementofcomponentdevelopment(dependingonscope:mechatronics,interior,closures,lighting,glazing,etc.),actingasatechnicalinterfacebetweensuppliers,engineeringteams,andtheproject,ensuringcompliancewithtiming,quality,andtechnicalrequirements.

Thisisakeypositionwithintheindustrializationprocessdevelopment,involvingahighlevelofinternationalcoordination.

Mainresponsibilities:

• Experienceworkingwithsuppliersinaninternationalenvironment.
• KnowledgeofAPQP,PPAP,andchangemanagement(ECR/ECN).
• AbilitytoreadandinterpretCADdrawingsandmodels(2D/3D).
• HighlevelofEnglish(internationalenvironment).
