Captain in Palma is seeking a Deckhand with carpentry experience for a 45 m private motor yacht. The role is temporary for 6 months, with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate. Candidates must hold STCW and ENG1, speak good English, and have at least one season as a deckhand plus real carpentry capabilities.

Non-smokers/non-vapors only; Schengen visa or EU citizenship required. Starting 18 September 2026.

Deckhand /carpenter needed for 45 m Private Motor Yacht. The yacht will be in Palma -Shipyard (on the hard) for the next 6 months. This is a temporary position for the next 6 months, and it then can change into a permanent position for the right candidate.

Need to have current STCW's and ENG 1. Must speak good English. Need to have at least one season experience as a Deck hand, and need to have real carpenter experience and capabilities. For the next 6 months the carpentry part of the job is more important than the deck hand part of the job.

Non-smokers and non -vapors only. Need to have Schengen visa in place, or be EU citizen so that you can legally work onboard a foreign flag yacht in Spain. Preference will be given firstly to candidates in Palma, then secondly candidates currently in Europe. Wages will be discussed during interview process and based on experience etc.

Starting date is 18 September 2026.
