Job summary

Fence is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to structure new debt facilities and bring them live on our platform. You will join a senior team with deep expertise in structured finance, fintech, and capital markets, owning end-to-end deal execution from inception to live operation.

You will lead structuring work with fintech originators and institutions, defining software requirements and working closely with engineers to deliver live facilities.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in demanding environments such as investment banking, consulting, or high-growth startups.
• Strong project management.
• AI-native.
• Bridge between business and engineering.
• Advanced Microsoft Office level.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Nice to have: experience on technical implementation and software development projects.
• Nice to have: exposure to structured finance, private credit or securitization.

Responsibilities

• Shape deals with C-level stakeholders and define each facility before it goes live.
• Make contracts run themselves by translating agreements into software behavior.
• Own scope and program management across multiple facilities.
• Be the face of Fence for all transaction stakeholders.
• Shape the product by anticipating institutional needs and translating them into product recommendations.
