Capgemini Invent in Spain seeks a data strategy & governance professional to shape data architectures, governance, and cross‑functional data initiatives across operations, production, supply chains, and customer engagement.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable hybrid data solutions, drive FinOps, and foster a data‑driven culture, leveraging cloud platforms and AI/MLOps tooling.

Madrid or Barcelona based; consulting background valued.

Formación

• Master or Bachelor degrees in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics or Statistics.
• Experience in data architecture projects, participating in the conceptual design of the best solution for the client.
• Establish best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and storage processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, working collaboratively to identify, define, and resolve issues while determining the best course of action.
• Experience in data modeling, data mining and/or database usage in enterprise environments with complex datasets.
• Strong technical Knowledge in Cloud platforms and system integrations.
• Strong knowledge of industry‑leading Data Governance and Data Management frameworks, including DAMA‑DMBOK, DCAM, and related methodologies.
• Deep knowledge on Big Data technologies.
• Familiarity with AI reference architecture & MLOps.
• Contribute to blueprint / architecture pattern creation to enhance re‑useability.
• Self‑starter with highly developed interpersonal skills, decisive and result oriented.
• Strong interest in technology and its impact on business and society.
• Previous experience in consulting is highly valuable.

Your Role

As part of our Data Strategy & Governance team, you’ll work on impactful projects that:

• Develop transparent data architectures to ensure reliability, quality, and accessibility for critical business functions.
• Define, implement, and continuously evolve the organization's Data Governance framework, ensuring that data is managed as a strategic, reliable, secure, and accessible asset.
• Lead cross‑functional data centralization initiatives to unlock insights and optimize performance across operations, production, supply chains, and customer engagement.
• Data architecture evolution and optimization: constant improvement of the current data architectures, adapting them to the new requirements related to the digital transformation.
• Drive change management efforts to foster a culture where data drives innovation and efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, hybrid data solutions that seamlessly integrate with industry‑specific needs, such as advanced analytics, fraud detection, or process optimization.
• Ensure FinOps practices, aligning cost with company expectations/Strategy.

Your Profile

We’re looking for professionals with a proven track record of designing and executing innovative data strategies. Key qualifications include:

• Master or Bachelor degrees in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics or Statistics.
