Capitole is seeking a Data Scientist specializing in optimization to tackle challenging business problems by applying metaheuristic techniques and advanced linear optimization. The role focuses on translating complex business rules into mathematical constraints and deploying optimization solutions within production environments.

You will work with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs, develop robust algorithms, and productionize models.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience in optimization roles.
• Strong experience with metaheuristic techniques (Genetic Algorithms, PSO, SA) and linear optimization/solvers (Gurobi, CPLEX, PuLP, Pyomo, OR-Tools, DEAP, Optuna).
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SciPy) and translating complex operational rules into mathematical models.

Opportunity - Data Scientist (Optimization Specialist)

We are looking for a Data Scientist specializing in optimization to help solve complex business challenges by applying advanced metaheuristic techniques to find optimal solutions.

About the role

As a Data Scientist specializing in optimization, you will work on challenging projects that require translating complex business rules into mathematical constraints and developing robust optimization algorithms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operational needs and bring custom optimization solutions into production.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 4+ years of experience in optimization roles.
• Strong experience with metaheuristic techniques (Genetic Algorithms, PSO, SA) and linear optimization/solvers (Gurobi, CPLEX, PuLP, Pyomo, OR-Tools, DEAP, Optuna).
• Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, SciPy) and translating complex operational rules into mathematical models.
• Experience in algorithm evaluation, fine-tuning, sensitivity analysis, and collaborating with delivery teams to productionize models (AWS experience is a plus).
