Job summary

Ferrovial seeks a Data Scientist – Product Builder to join the Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence within the Digital Hub. You will turn business problems into deployable data products, partnering with construction, highways, airports, energy, and digital infra units.

You will rely on agentic coding with AI agents to deliver production-ready solutions, owning the product from analysis to adoption. The role requires a strong stats foundation, 3+ years in data science, and experience with

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in statistics and probability, including inference and hypothesis testing.

Responsibilities

• Frame business problems with stakeholders and translate them into clear objectives and measurable success metrics.
• Own projects end-to-end from problem definition to deployment, adoption and continuous improvement.
• Perform exploratory and statistical analysis on heterogeneous datasets to uncover insights and support decision making.
• Apply statistical methods and causal inference to answer business questions with simplicity.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models and manage their lifecycle with MLflow.
• Oversee agentic coding to design, test, and document code, building complete data products with a FastAPI back end and a Vue front end.
• Review agent-generated code for quality, security and test coverage.
• Deploy and monitor applications in containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes, following CI/CD practices.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and measure business impact.
• Share agentic-coding practices and contribute to knowledge sharing in the Digital Hub.
