iTalenters is seeking a Data Scientist / Analyst to join its Barcelona hub. You will design and optimize RAG pipelines, integrate vector databases, and deploy models in Azure, collaborating with teams in Barcelona and Switzerland on end‑to‑end projects.

This hands‑on role applies statistical methods to real customer challenges and stays current with AI trends. The position offers a hybrid work model with 4 days remote and 1 day on‑site.

As part of their expanding Barcelona technical hub, you'll work on impactful AI and Data Science projects, building and optimising RAG pipelines and integrating vector databases into real business contexts. Expect a hands‑on role where your mathematical and statistical skills will be applied to solve real customer challenges, while having the opportunity to innovate and contribute ideas that shape how Data Science drives business strategy.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust RAG pipelines tailored to real business needs.
• Integrate and optimise vector databases such as Databricks.
• Deploy models and solutions in cloud environments using Azure, AzureML, and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in Barcelona and Switzerland on end‑to‑end projects.
• Apply statistical and mathematical methods to solve real‑world problems and support data‑driven decisions.
• Stay up to date with AI trends and propose and implement best practices.

Tech stack: Python, SQL, Git, Windows Azure (including Azure Data Lakehouse, Synapse, Fabric), Databricks, ETL, Agile, AI, Vector databases.
