Ventós Group, a Barcelona-based global producer and distributor of Essential Oils & Aroma Chemicals, is seeking a Data Scientist to join the new Data & AI department. You will drive end-to-end AI projects, create PoCs, and help grow the department with strategic backing from Dribia.

Remote work days are available, with flexible hours and training opportunities. The role requires 3 years in data/AI settings and a strong foundation in data analysis, ML, optimizing processes, and backend/API

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in data/AI environments.

We are currently looking for a Data Scientist to join our new Data and Artificial Intelligence department, helping drive these initiatives within the company by developing end-to-end AI projects and contributing to the growth of the department itself. The role will be supported strategically by Dribia as a technological partner and offers significant professional growth alongside the company’s expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Perform exploratory data analysis and visualization to identify patterns, generate actionable insights, define new use cases, and create proofs of concepts.
• Develop end-to-end AI solutions. This includes solution design, creation of algorithmic prototypes (PoC), data processing, model development, and productization.
• Maintenance and evolution of developed projects.
• Participation in training and upskilling Ventós employees in the adoption and use of the developed solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field).
• 3 years of experience in data/AI environments.

The following skills will be positively valued:

• Knowledge of data analysis and visualization.
• Knowledge of machine learning, inference, and/or optimization.
• Design and use of databases, back-end programming, and API usage/programming.
• Experience with LLMs and generative AI.
