YEGO Barcelona is seeking a Data Science Intern to help understand, predict, and optimise YEGO’s mobility service using data science techniques. You will work on forecasting demand, fleet optimisation, and analysis of user feedback, contributing across the full DS lifecycle from problem framing to deployment.

Formación

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or another quantitative field.
• Strong knowledge of Python and common Data Science libraries such as pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn.
• Good knowledge of SQL.
• Good understanding of statistics, Machine Learning fundamentals and model evaluation.
• Ability to work with large datasets and turn business problems into structured analytical approaches.
• Interest in taking Data Science projects beyond experimentation and into production.
• Curious and rigorous mindset with a willingness to experiment and challenge assumptions.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of data quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings and their business implications clearly.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development.
• Ability to work and communicate professionally in Spanish, French and English.

Responsabilidades

Mission

As a Data Science Intern, you will help us better understand, predict and optimise YEGO’s mobility service through Data Science.

Reporting to the Head of Data, you will work on concrete business problems such as mobility demand forecasting, fleet optimisation and the automated analysis of user feedback.

You will contribute to the full Data Science lifecycle, from understanding the business problem and exploring the data to developing, evaluating and deploying solutions. You will also help turn existing Proofs of Concept into reliable solutions integrated into YEGO’s data and operational workflows.
