Lighthouse in Barcelona, Spain, is seeking a Data Science Engineer to join the Data Science Core team. You will own projects from problem framing to deploying AI products that customers use, collaborating with Senior Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers.

The role emphasizes hands-on data science, exploration of hospitality-focused AI applications, and delivering production-ready models within a fast-growing SaaS environment. Remote-friendly with flexible work arrangements.

Formación

• Proven experience in Data Science.
• Experience using Python to develop ML solutions.
• Experience with cloud orchestration and generative AI.
• Track record of taking ML models or AI products into production for customers.
• Strong communication and collaboration with stakeholders on ambiguous data science problems.
• Ability to work independently on data science projects.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Own work from an initial business question through to models and AI products that reach customers.
• Provide internal consulting for teams without embedded data science support.
• Support important data domains and continuous research into AI applications for hospitality.
• Work independently on projects while drawing on support from Senior Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers.
• Build, evaluate, and ship machine learning and AI models for customer-facing use.
• Bring models and AI products from an initial question through to production.
• Ramp up on important data domains to provide support and maintenance when needed.
