Metyis in Madrid is seeking a Data Science Analyst with 2+ years of experience to join our international Data and Analytics team based in Madrid.

You will design and maintain data pipelines, work with Palantir Foundry, PySpark, and SQL, translate business needs into scalable data solutions, and collaborate across clients and teams.

Fluency in Spanish and English is required; the role offers a fast‑growing, diverse environment with opportunities to impact real business outcomes.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional experience in Data Science or Data Engineering in real production environments.
• Strong technical expertise in Python, with readable code and data structures.
• Hands-on experience with Py-Spark including DataFrames API and distributed execution model.
• Advanced SQL skills including CTEs, window functions, and optimization.
• Experience with at least one cloud data platform such as Palantir Foundry, Databricks, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Understanding of Git and collaborative work in shared repositories with code review.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines in Palantir Foundry from ingestion to consumption datasets.
• Implement and evolve the Foundry Data Model and Ontology for customer use cases.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and document design decisions.
• Ensure data quality with validations, tests, schema control, and monitoring.
• Optimize performance and resource use of transformations (Spark).
• Build lightweight analytic applications on Foundry when needed.
• Collaborate with client data and IT teams for access and data integration.
