Bunge is hiring a Data Quality & AI Engineer in Sant Just Desvern, Barcelona area. You will design and maintain data quality apps, build AI solutions, and orchestrate AI agents in a cloud-native environment as part of a global team.

You will work with Python, BigQuery, Vertex AI, and IaC practices, contributing to data governance and innovative AI platforms while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• 2-4 years in Software/Data/Cloud engineering or related role.
• Strong Python skills for API development, automation, scripting and app dev.
• Solid Cloud & Infrastructure knowledge focusing on GCP, Terraform, CI/CD, Docker.
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI apps, or AI-powered solutions.
• Experience with AI Agent or orchestration frameworks is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native deployment (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong SQL and BigQuery experience with modern data platforms.
• Exposure to data pipelines, distributed architectures, data quality concepts.
• Knowledge to translate business needs into innovative data/AI solutions.
• Ability to influence, coach and drive change with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data quality apps, services, and automation using Python.
• Build and deploy Generative AI solutions, AI assistants, copilots, and RAG workflows.
• Develop and maintain AI Agent and multi-agent orchestration leveraging LLM frameworks and cloud-native services.
• Implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Develop and support data quality solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, DataPlex, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Dataflow.
• Build APIs, integrations, and reusable libraries to support AI and data platform initiatives.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AI, LLM, and cloud technologies.
• Communicate technical concepts and designs effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Main Accountabilities:

Contribute to data quality and governance initiatives by applying the next areas of responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data quality applications, services, and automation frameworks using Python.
• Build and deploy Generative AI solutions, including AI assistants, copilots, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and intelligent automation workflows.
• Develop and maintain AI Agent and multi-agent orchestration solutions leveraging modern LLM frameworks and cloud-native services.
• Implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Develop and support data quality solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services such as BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, DataPlex, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow.
• Build APIs, integrations, and reusable libraries to support AI and data platform initiatives.
• Participate in evaluating and adopting emerging AI, LLM, and cloud technologies.
• Communicate technical concepts and solution designs effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related technical role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, including API development, automation, scripting, and application development; SQL, REST APIs, Git.
• Strong knowledge on Cloud & Infrastructure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform, Cloud Functions, DevOps & Platform Engineering, CI/CD, Docker and IaaC.
• Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI applications, or AI-powered solutions.
• Experience building or contributing to AI Agent or agent orchestration frameworks is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native deployment practices (Docker, Cloud Run, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with modern data platforms and analytical databases such as BigQuery.
• Exposure to data engineering concepts, data pipelines, and distributed data architectures is preferred.
• Basic understanding of data quality, observability, and data governance concepts is a plus.
• Use knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions to improve results or eliminate problems.
• Build partnerships, appropriately influence to gain commitment, foster talent and coach others to grow in current or future roles.
