Job summary
AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Data Platform Engineer to modernize, migrate, and maintain reliable data-platform infrastructure across cloud and enterprise environments.
The role requires 3+ years of senior-level production data-platform engineering experience and strong Python, Bash, SQL skills, with AWS, Snowflake, and Kafka/Confluent expertise. Responsibilities include migrating workloads to new infrastructure (AWS us-east-2), enabling secure data access, and modernizing data-platform
Qualifications
- Strong production data-platform engineering background with DevOps focus.
- Experience with data migrations and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Help migrate infrastructure and data-platform workloads to new infrastructure.
- Move data-platform workloads to AWS us-east-2 with required connectivity and deployment.
- Enable secure, governed access to data for data-platform consumers and downstream systems.
- Modernize data-platform architecture, tooling, orchestration, storage, and operations.
- Support Snowflake, Confluent/Kafka, AWS, and data-platform migration and operations across stages.
- Participate in production troubleshooting, incident response, and cross-team migration coordination.
- Use Terraform/IaC, GitLab, monitoring, and auditable processes.
