Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Data Labeling Specialists for AI training projects. This fully remote hourly contract role requires a detail-oriented, patient worker who can categorize and annotate data with consistency.

No prior AI experience is required, and you can work on a flexible schedule from anywhere. You will label text, images, or audio using predefined guidelines, follow structured task instructions, and participate in calibration exercises to ensure high-quality results.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to doing consistent, quality work. No prior AI or technical experience required.

What You'll Do

• Categorize and label text, images, or audio data using predefined tag sets and annotation guidelines
• Annotate datasets accurately and consistently to support AI model training
• Follow structured project instructions with precision and care
• Participate in calibration exercises to maintain quality standards across the team
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Naturally detail-oriented with a patient, systematic approach to repetitive tasks
• Able to follow structured instructions precisely and consistently
• Comfortable using web-based tools and interfaces
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
• No prior data labeling or AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with quality assurance, data entry, or document review
• Familiarity with AI tools or annotation platforms as an end user
• Background in research, transcription, or content moderation
