Bitpanda is seeking a Data Engineering Intern in Barcelona to build and operate a modern data platform. You will partner with experienced data engineers to turn raw data into reliable data products, with mentorship and strong engineering standards.

Hiring kicks off in October 2026 for a 6-month, full-time role starting February 1, 2027. The role offers a hybrid work model and exposure to bitpanda’s data ecosystem.

Competenze

• Foundational background in Computer Science or completed a relevant coding bootcamp with a focus on data engineering.
• Practical experience writing Python scripts and SQL queries through projects or coursework.
• Basic exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure) and data engineering concepts.
• Highly motivated, curious, and eager to learn and solve engineering problems.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Mansioni

• Build reliable data pipelines using Python and SQL within ETL workflows.
• Develop clean datasets and data models for analysts and stakeholders.
• Apply engineering standards: version control, testing, code reviews, CI/CD.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Finance to translate requirements.
• Own data engineering workflows and project deliverables under guidance.
