AgileEngine in Valencia, Spain, seeks a Data Engineer to execute large-scale migrations to Snowflake and support reliable Airflow workflows.

You will work within the data engineering function to migrate about 1,000 datasets, adapt pipelines to Snowflake, and ensure data quality while accelerating the modernization effort.

This role offers flextime with remote and office options and exposure to Fortune 500 projects.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
Advanced SQL with complex joins, CTEs, window functions and performance tuning.
Snowflake data modeling and architecture experience.
Apache Airflow—pipeline development, testing and orchestration.
Experience with Iceberg and Parquet formats.
AWS experience, especially S3 for data lakes and lifecycle management.
Hands-on testing, debugging and validation of data pipelines.
2+ years with large-scale datasets, Airflow and Spark.
Overlap with Pacific Time until 12 PM is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with the data platform team to support a large-scale modernization effort.
Migrate approximately 1,000 datasets to Snowflake.
Adapt existing pipelines to Snowflake following established architecture.
Ensure data quality and reliability throughout migration.
Support workflow scheduling and monitoring in Apache Airflow 3.
Execute time-sensitive migrations including Airflow 2→3 and Iceberg transition.
Contribute to accelerating migration initiatives to finish by March 2027.
