AgileEngine in Valladolid, Spain seeks a Data Engineer to execute large-scale data platform migrations to Snowflake and support reliable Airflow workflows. The role requires hands-on Python development, advanced SQL, Snowflake modeling, and Airflow expertise to migrate ~1,000 datasets while ensuring data quality and reliability.

You will work embedded in the data engineering function, drive modernization, and collaborate with the data platform team to deliver high-impact results by March 2027.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Python development.
• Advanced SQL with complex joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning.
• Snowflake data modeling.
• Airflow development and testing in Python.
• Iceberg and Parquet formats.
• AWS S3 data lake experience.

Responsibilities

• Work within the data engineering function to support modernization.
• Migrate ~1,000 datasets to Snowflake.
• Adapt pipelines to Snowflake per internal architecture.
• Ensure data quality and reliability during migration.
• Support workflow scheduling/monitoring in Airflow 3.
• Execute time-sensitive migrations (Airflow 2→3, region migrations, Iceberg move).
• Help accelerate migration initiatives through end of March 2027.
