Job summary

Oxigent Technologies in Barcelona is seeking a Data Engineer to join our IT & Data team on a major migration to Google Cloud Platform. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines handling batch and streaming data to support hyper-personalization and analytics.

You will work with Spark, Python/Scala, SQL, Databricks, and Airflow in a hybrid work environment. Fluency in Spanish and English is required, with GDPR governance a priority.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Data Engineering handling large data volumes.
• Strong Spark, Python/Scala and SQL skills.
• Experience with Databricks, Data Lake, and Airflow.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for batch and real-time streaming.
• Industrialize data architectures in Databricks and GCP during migration.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and privacy practices.
• Collaborate with business and Product Owners to translate analytics needs into solutions.
• Work with Agile teams and communicate effectively.
