A consulting firm is seeking a Mid-Senior level Data Engineer for a contract role in Barcelona. The position requires extensive experience with AWS data pipelines and strong SQL skills. Candidates should be proficient in data curation and familiar with BI tools like Power BI and Tableau. This contract role offers a daily rate and is expected to last initially for 6 months.

Exalto consulting are currently recruiting for a contract Data Engineer to work in Barcelona, this contract will be initially 6 months on a daily rate basis - Autónomo

Key experience:

• Strong experience building AWS data pipelines (Athena, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, S3)
• Strong SQL for data modeling and transformations
• Able to curate datasets and expose them to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Superset)
• Experience building dashboards and reports on top of curated data
• Familiarity with permissions
• Proficiency in Python; TypeScript experience is a plus
• Fluent in using AI tools (co-pilot, cursor)
