Roche seeks a data engineer to lead the end-to-end data pipeline lifecycle within the PTE Data Engineering and Architecture Team. You will ingest data from diverse sources, build feature pipelines, and collaborate with data scientists to support advanced analytics across biopharmaceutical processes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in biotech, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience with cloud data warehouses.

Formación

• 3+ years in bio-pharma industry focusing on bioprocess manufacturing or 5+ years in related fields.
• Proficient in building and managing data pipelines with Python, Scala or Java.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of Information Security, cGMP regulations and quality systems.
• Strong collaboration and communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Acquire, ingest, and process data from multiple sources into Big Data platforms
• Build modular pipelines to construct features and modeling tables
• Collect requirements from SMEs and define secure data exchange approaches
• Collaborate with data scientists to map data fields to hypotheses
• Maintain Information Security standards on engagements
• Define the technology stack to be provisioned by the infrastructure team
