Job summary

eDreams ODIGEO is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Performance Marketing Technology Team in Barcelona to drive the evolution of our data ecosystem for AI-driven growth. You will design and optimize high-throughput data products and infrastructure that power marketing AI strategies, collaborating with data scientists, product managers, and marketing teams.

You will mentor teammates, apply scalable ETL/ELT and data modeling patterns, and communicate complex data concepts to business

We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our Performance Marketing Technology Team in Barcelona to drive the evolution of our marketing data ecosystem. Our mission is to build and operate the high-scale infrastructure required for our AI-driven growth strategies. Working in a fast-paced Agile environment, you will collaborate closely with other Data Engineers, Performance Marketing managers, Product Managers and Data Scientists to turn complex data into data driven solutions.

• You are capable of delivering strategic improvements to our data ecosystem that directly impact business performance.
• Experience with designing and implementing solutions to mitigate data loss, implement robust data privacy standards and ensure high-level of data quality across online marketing data.
• You are able to comfortably leverage AI coding assistants to enhance the quality and delivery speed of your code.
• Proven experience using data orchestrators like Airflow and Dagster.
• You successfully deliver high-complexity data projects involving multiple stakeholders (Data Science, Product, Marketing).
• You are skilled at monitoring progress and mitigating timeline or technical risks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• You are comfortable with iterative development, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to deliver incremental value in a fast-paced setting.
• You effectively give and receive feedback, including code reviews and data model deep dives.
• You enjoy mentoring other team members, coaching them to upgrade their technical skills and grow to the next level.
• You can communicate complex data concepts and technical architectures to both technical and business stakeholders, establishing alignment within the broader organization.
• You possess a strong analytical mindset, proactively using data to validate hypotheses, ensure data quality and solve intricate problems.
