Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer to join our international team in Madrid. The role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, data models, and cloud-based data platforms using Python, Airflow, and Google Cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and integration.
• Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines with Apache Airflow.
• Solid knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Dataform.
• Good understanding of Git, CI/CD practices, testing, and documentation.
• Familiarity with Data Quality and Data Governance principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and optimize data warehouse solutions and data models.
• Develop data processing solutions using Python and Airflow.
• Work with BigQuery and other cloud data technologies to deliver reliable data products.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to understand and deliver data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, governance, monitoring, and performance best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in Data Engineering and Cloud Data Platforms.
