Data Engineer: Build AI-Ready Pipelines (Remote Europe)

Job summary

Remobi LTD. is seeking a Data Engineer to own data pipelines powering AI across finance and commercial functions from a remote Europe base. You’ll work on a Snowflake, Airflow and dbt platform, starting with a commercial forecasting use case and expanding to greenfield projects.

You will translate cost planning needs into data requirements, build SAP-based pipelines, and enable bi-directional data access for AI agents across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, with strong SQL and Python.
• Production experience with dbt (models, tests, snapshots, incremental loads) and Airflow
• Metadata-driven data modelling across multiple source systems
• Data quality and observability experience, plus AWS (S3, IAM, EKS basics) and Git-based CI/CD
• SAP PS/FI/CO data such as WBS elements, cost postings and plan vs. actual (preferred)
• Strong communication skills in English and comfort working independently with business stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Turn cost planning and forecasting needs into clear data requirements.
• Build pipelines per business area from SAP finance tables and files (MS Project, Primavera, contract PDFs)
• Make source-to-target mapping configurable so new SAP systems and business units onboard via a mapping
• Migrate pipelines to the company’s central data platform
• Add data quality tests, SAP reconciliation, lineage and monitoring
• Expose curated data to the AI agents
