Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in Madrid is seeking an accomplished Data Engineer/Architect to design and implement Data as a Service architectures and drive enterprise data platforms.

You will collaborate with platform teams, architects and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure data solutions that meet business needs.

Formación

• Senior-level experience in large-scale data engineering and data architecture.
• University degree or equivalent in CS/Data Eng/Telecom or related.
• Hands-on experience designing large-scale data platforms.
• Experience with operational data services and SLAs.
• Experience with distributed data processing and real-time architectures.
• Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data persistence.

Responsabilidades

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks :

• Design and implement Data as a Service (DaaS) architectures for operational use cases.
• Define multi-persistence models across event-driven, real-time operational, structured and unstructured data domains.
• Build consumption services and reusable interfaces for downstream applications and consumers.
• Improve reliability, scalability, availability and operational support of enterprise data platforms.
• Translate banking requirements into robust data architecture and engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with customer platform teams, architects and technical stakeholders.
• Design and support high-availability data services with operational SLAs.
• Drive best practices across data engineering, architecture and platform evolution.

? WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Strong senior-level experience in large-scale Data Engineering and Data Architecture environments.
• University degree, FP qualification or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing large-scale data platforms.
• Experience designing operational data services with availability SLAs.
• Experience with distributed data processing, event-driven and real-time data architectures.
• Strong understanding of structured and unstructured data persistence models.
• Experience working in banking or another highly regulated environment.
• Experience with DaaS products, consumption APIs, data governance and cloud data engineering is highly desirable.
• English: Intermediate / Professional Working Proficiency (B2).
