Job summary

Socialpoint in Barcelona is looking for a Central Analytics data engineer to build high-quality data marts, tools, and AI-powered workflows that shape player experience and drive game growth.

You will write and optimize SQL queries, design cross-game data pipelines with Airflow and CI/CD, and collaborate with game analysts to deliver scalable, reusable code and data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a quantitative field (e.g Engineering, Computer Science, Maths, Statistics or Physics).
• Advanced SQL skills, including experience with CTEs, query optimization, and large-scale data warehouses.
• Advanced experience building and maintaining data pipelines in production environments, using tools such as Airflow, Docker, S3, and CI/CD workflows.
• Advanced experience in Python for developing production-level data analytics solutions.
• Basic to intermediate experience integrating LLMs or working with generative AI tools and workflows.
• A collaborative team player who builds trust, communicates openly, and contributes to shared success.
• A fast learner who is proactive and comfortable working with ambiguity.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy and high-quality outcomes.
• Pragmatic, with the ability to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term technical quality.

Responsibilities
