Job summary

Monzo, the challenger bank, is expanding its EU data presence and seeks a Data Director to lead the data discipline across new markets. You will own the data strategy, drive learning loops, and shape product and commercial priorities with EU leadership.

You'll collaborate with the EU CEO, Country Managers, and the VP of Product to set metrics, forecast outcomes, and ensure fast, data‑driven decision making in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data-driven initiatives at scale.
• Proven ability to translate data insights into product and business strategy.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineers, product and finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the EU expansion learning loop and co‑own product development with EU Leadership.
• Set data strategy for EU and establish foundational data metrics and forecasts.
• Represent Data at ExCo, driving a shared language of metrics and analytical reasoning.
• Build and lead a high‑performing, full‑stack Data team and raise performance standards.
