A global leader in data center services is seeking a Data Center Technician in Ciudad Real, Spain, to provide essential on-site technical support. The ideal candidate will manage server installations, perform hardware troubleshooting, and support client visits. Required skills include experience with data center infrastructure, strong communication in English, and the ability to lift heavy equipment. Preferred certifications include CompTIA Server+ and knowledge of structured cabling. Flexibility for on-call duties is necessary.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure.
• Knowledge of server hardware, networking, and cabling standards.
• Ability to lift 25kg+ equipment.
• Reliable transportation and proximity to local data centers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Remote Hands & Smart Hands support.
• Install and decommission server racks.
• Manage cross-connect and patch panels.
• Perform hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Conduct visual inspections and inventory audits.
• Coordinate access for client visits.

Conocimientos

Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure

Strong communication skills in English

Knowledge of server hardware

Knowledge of networking and cabling standards

Educación

Certifications: CompTIA Server+, Network+, CDCP, CCNA

Herramientas

Structured cabling expertise (fiber, Cat6, DAC)
