Symrise is seeking a Data Architect & Engineer in Barcelona to shape enterprise-wide data strategy and build scalable data foundations for digital and AI transformation. You will lead architectural direction and collaborate with technology and business teams to enable data-driven decisions.

You will design modern data platforms, ensure governance and security, and drive analytics initiatives across the organization, working in a hybrid setup with global teams.

Formación

• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures.
• Strong background in data modelling, governance, and quality.
• Knowledge of cloud-native data platforms and integration patterns.
• Experience aligning data solutions with business strategy and analytics needs.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Design and drive enterprise-wide data architecture and engineering solutions.
• Define scalable data models, standards, and architectural principles.
• Build and optimize modern data platforms and pipelines to support business needs.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Lead architectural decisions that support analytics, AI, and digital initiatives.
• Ensure data solutions follow governance, security, and quality standards; identify performance improvements.
• Support adoption of modern technologies and engineering best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor on data architecture and engineering topics across Symrise.
