Ubique Systems seeks an experienced Information Architect for a pharma/healthcare client in Barcelona. You will drive data modeling, metadata standards, and MDRM, shaping enterprise information architecture across commercial data domains.

The role requires strategic advisory, governance oversight, and collaboration with IT and business stakeholders to realize measurable data value. Hybrid work in Barcelona with EU visa requirements.

Formación

• Experience as Information Architect in Pharma/Healthcare environments.
• Data modeling concepts across conceptual/logical domains.
• Metadata standards, glossaries and data lineage knowledge.
• Knowledge of MDRM and governance frameworks for pharma data domains.

• Define and own the enterprise information architecture for Pharma Commercial domain.
• Lead conceptual, logical, and canonical data models aligned to business processes.
• Establish and govern metadata standards, glossaries, and data lineage.
• Drive MDRM strategy and operating model across commercial data domains.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure data models support analytics and decision-making.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure alignment to industry data standards and regulatory expectations.
• Translate business strategy into information-architecture roadmaps with measurable value.

We are looking for a Data Architect for one of our customer who has an expertise in:-

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Information Architect with strong pharma or healthcare domain expertise, focused on data modeling, metadata management, and master/reference data strategy across the Pharma Commercial landscape.

This role is strategic in nature and will drive data standards, governance, and value realization across commercial data domains such as sales, marketing, customer (HCP/HCO), and market access.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise information architecture for the Pharma Commercial domain
• Lead conceptual, logical, and canonical data models aligned to commercial business processes
• Establish and govern metadata standards, business glossaries, and data lineage
• Drive Master Data & Reference Data Management (MDRM) strategy and operating model
• Partner with commercial stakeholders to ensure data models support analytics, insights, and decision-making
• Define data ownership, stewardship, and governance frameworks
• Ensure alignment to industry data standards and regulatory expectations
• Translate business strategy into information architecture roadmaps that deliver measurable value

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as an Information Architect in Pharma / Healthcare environments
• Data modeling (conceptual, logical, canonical)
• Metadata management
• Master Data & Reference Data Management (MDRM)
• Data governance frameworks
• Deep understanding of Pharma Commercial data domains, such as:
• Customer (HCP/HCO) data
• Market access and commercial analytics
• Ability to operate at strategic and advisory level, influencing stakeholders across business and IT
• Experience driving enterprise-wide data standards and value realization

Preferred Qualifications

• DAMA-DMBOK certification or strong working knowledge of DMBOK principles
• Experience working with European pharma organizations
